Swetha Basu Prasad With Vaibhav

Kothabangaru Lokam heroine Swetha Basu Prasad and Vaibhav are coming together to act in a film as hero and heroine. Vaibhav, son of A.Kondanda Rami Reddy made debut in Godava. Though the movie didn't do well, he got offers from kollywood and later did Saroja. Now same Godava banner is going to produce this flick with kondanda rami reddy son as hero. This flick would be directed by G.Nageshwar Reddy and script is provided by Gopi Mohan.

Kavya’s Dairy by Manjula

Manjula, sister of Mahesh Babu, made her debut as actor and producer with the film Show directed by Neelakanta, which won critical acclaim and a National Award. Her second film production Pokiri has broken all previous box office records.

Manjula is now producing and acting in a film titled Kavya’s Dairy under the banner Indira Productions, which also stars Charmi and Shashank. Ad filmmaker V.K Prakash is making his Tollywood debut as director with this film.

The film has quietly completed its schedules of shooting and is now under post-production. This film is slated for release on January 14, 2009.

Neha Sharma signed for the role refused by Kajal

The Mumbai based actress, Kajal Agarwal who is one of the current busiest heroines in Tollywood with four big films : (Ram Charan Teja-SS Rajamouli film, Allu Arjun’s sequal Arya-II, Gopichand-Siva film and Sravanthi Movies new film with Ram) , has opted out from NTR-VV Vinayak’s film because her character was to play second fiddle to Ileana. Now as per the Film Nagar sources, Kajal will be replaced by Neha Sharma (the heroine of Chiruta). Neha, who was striving hard for better opportunities, is only too willing to play the second fiddle to Ileana. However, it is not new for upcoming heroines to refuse second lead roles, Tamanna being the recent one to opt out of Mahesh-Trivikram film .

Komaram Puli’s new schedule from January

Pawan Kalyan and his ‘Komaram Puli’ are in news every now and then. Recently there was news that the film’s shooting is postponed for about five months due to Pawan Kalyan’s campaigning programme for PRP’s youth wing ‘Yuvarajyam’ from January. But now the makers of the film have announced that the film’s shoot would take place from January 3 to Febuary 15. It appears that this is an indirect way of giving publicity for the film.

Now, as we all know, Pawan Kalyan and S J Surya are back again promising to bring yet another interesting flick after their block buster film ‘Kushi’. ‘Komaram Puli’ in this combo is made under Kanaka Ratna Movies banner produced by Singanamala Ramesh Babu.

Director Surya told the media that the entire shooting except four songs would be completed in this schedule that is taking place from January 3 to February 15. The songs shoot would be done in March since the film’s release is planned for summer 2009. Speaking further he said that Pawan’s characterization is the highlight of the film and that he is confident enough to say that the film will be liked by one and all.

While A R Rahman composes the music, Binod Pradhan plays with the camera. A new face, Nishika, is the heroine of the film. Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpai, Charan Raj, Nazar, Saranya and Ali are the prominent cast.

Is Ghajini Banned in Tamil Nadu ?

Ghajini starring Aamir Khan, Asin and Jiah Khan is all set to hit world wide theaters on 25 th December . Even before its release the film has been declared hit at box-office.This film is Directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Allu Aravind under Geeta Arts banner.

With just two days left for the release, the film producer has been sent the orders by Madras High Court to stop the screening of the film. The reason, KBC Pictures claim to have possessed the remake rights of the Tamil version and that they are right now producing the film titled ‘Kahani Ghajini Ki’ featuring Amitabh look alike in the lead role and with the same storyline as ‘Ghajini’.

However, the makers of ‘Ghajini’ say that the film will hit the screens as per the schedule despite the court order.
